Scope
Wearables, telecommunication, and personal health management are at the heart of the healthcare revolution. Innovative key-enabling technologies, devices, products, and services make it possible to measure, transmit, store, and analyze data originating from the human body. A prime example of such a technology is wireless body area networks (WBANs) that encompass both on-body and in-body sensing combined with dependable and trustable (wireless) communications, accurate localization, and behavioral analysis, which in turn makes healthcare systems more effective and efficient.
The conference delves into the opportunities, challenges, and solutions related to the design, simulation, implementation, and real-life deployment of body area networks (BodyNets) and related technologies such as IoT, AI, and big data for health management. The conference will provide a lively platform for discussing ideas, comparing practices, encouraging adoption, and sharing experience among researchers and practitioners from various fields such as wireless communication, computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, medicine, and other related disciplines from the academic and industrial sectors.
