Scope

Body Area Networks (BANs), wearable devices, intelligent sensing technologies, Cyber-Physical & Human Systems and AI-driven healthcare applications are rapidly transforming modern digital health ecosystems. As these systems increasingly rely on edge intelligence, cloud services and emerging 5G/6G communication infrastructures, ensuring privacy, security, trustworthiness, resilience, and reliable operation have become a critical challenge.
The combination of sensitive physiological and personal data, resource-constrained devices, highly interconnected environments and the growing adoption of artificial intelligence introduces new challenges that require innovative approaches spanning communications, cybersecurity, trust management, human factors, ethics, regulation and digital health governance.

This workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from the cybersecurity, communications, artificial intelligence, healthcare, digital trust and regulatory communities, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration in the development of secure, trustworthy, privacy-preserving and human-centric and body-centric systems. Contributions are welcomed on topics including secure sensing and communications, privacy-preserving and trustworthy AI, authentication and trust mechanisms, post-quantum security, behavioural cybersecurity, human factors, resilient healthcare infrastructures, digital identity, secure edge intelligence and related approaches for building trustworthy digital health ecosystems.

Submission and publication guidelines and deadlines

Accepted and presented papers will be published alongside the main conference proceedings as a sub-section/chapter. Paper formats should, therefore, correspond to the templates of the publisher of the main conference.

Workshop chairs are invited to engage journals and further publication opportunities.

Authors have the opportunity to submit an extended version of their paper in the EAI Endorsed Transactions journal selected by the conference (indexed in Scopus, Ei Compendex, and ESCI/Web of Science, depending on the journal). Conference authors are eligible for a discounted Article Processing Charge (APC). Current APC rates and discount information are available on the respective EAI Endorsed Transactions journal website.

The article’s publication is subject to the following requirements:  

  • It must be an extended version of the conference paper with a different title and abstract. In general, 30% of new content must be added.
  • The article will be processed once the conference proceedings have been published.
  • The article will be processed using the fast-track option.
  • Once the conference proceedings are published, the corresponding author should contact us at [email protected] with the details of their article to begin processing.

50% discount on 2nd and 3rd paper

A 50% discount on both the second and third papers is available to authors who register two or three accepted papers for the same conference, provided all papers are authored by the same individual listed as an author in the initial submissions. The 50% discount on additional papers applies only to the individual who has completed a full (non-discounted) registration and does not grant attendance rights to any additional co-authors.

Additional paper discounts and discounted registrations are strictly non-transferable. Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. Discounts cannot be combined.

If a full registration linked to a discounted registration is canceled, the discount becomes void, and the discounted registration must be upgraded to a full registration to remain valid.

The conference reserves the right to remove papers from the program or deny attendance if these terms and conditions are not respected.
